Furman, A. L. and Hadley, Harold Drug Store (First Edition) New York Macaulay Company 1935 First Edition; First Printing Hardcover Near Fine in Very Good dust jacket The saga of the rise and fall and rebirth of a modest suburban drug store. Hadley authored one crime novel, "Come See Them Die," as did Furman, "Chief Counsel," (both listed in Hubin). However, Furman is much better known for his collaboration with the Harlem Renaissance author Wallace Thurman on "The Interne," the scathing expose of urban hospitals. A very scarce book, nearly impossible to find in dust jacket. Jacket is lightly chipped and rubbed along the front flap fold, but is bright and unfaded. Price:
