The story of an unnamed battleship manned by a green crew that not only survived the murderous attacks of Japanese dive bombers & torpedo planes off the Savo Islands & Guadacanal during World War II but shot down 32 planes. First printing with the numeral "1" in parentheses on the final page of text as required. Dust jacket is price clipped and lightly worn at extremities but remains bright and unfaded. Scarce!
